Russell S. Kohn was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 2, 1959. He attended the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona from which he obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting in 1981 and his Juris Doctor Degree in 1984. He was admitted to practice law in Arizona in 1984, and in California in 1985. He has limited his practice to representing injured victims in personal injury matters since 1987. Mr. Kohn is a lawyer for people, and does not represent businesses, corporations or insurance companies.

Accomplishments: In addition to being elected President of the Bar Association of Northern San Diego County in 2004, Russell Kohn was also elected to a three year term as a Director of the San Diego County Bar Association beginning in January 2006. Mr. Kohn has also earned the distinction of being among the top 5 percent of attorneys recognized by Super Lawyers for their outstanding achievements. Most recently, Mr. Kohn was appointed as acting Judge Pro Tempore for the Vista Superior Traffic Court in North County, San Diego.
